It gained massive popularity in China over the years and now is present in its many forms and fillings in every city including our home town of Nan Jing. I still remember getting so excited for our weekly family trip to our favorite corner stand. You could smell them so distinctly even amidst the cacophany of aromas, my mouth watering more as we get closer!
